Commonly Asked Questions

What is your adoption fee?

Our adoption fee vary based on animal and desirability. Our puppies are up to date on vaccines and have been dewormed at an age appropriate level. Our adult animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on preventives. All adult animals are altered or scheduled to be altered in the area they are being fostered.

Do I need to have a fenced in yard?

We do not require all adopters have a fenced in yard. A fenced in yard may be required to adopt certain animals depending on their needs.

What vet care will my adoptive pet have had?

For animals, over six months, they are spayed/neutered or scheduled to altered, and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on shots, on heart worm prevention, and on flea and tick medication.

For puppies, under six months, they will be up to date on shots and will have been dewormed if necessary. We also have recommendations for clinics and low cost options to get your puppy altered when age appropriate

How do I find your animals that are available for adoption?

All of our adoptable animals are listed on Petfinder and our “Animals Available for Adoption” website tab. We do have other animals that may not be available yet because they are waiting to be spayed/neutered or need some time to decompress in their foster home. If you’re interested in a certain age, breed, or size, and don’t see an available animal that fits your needs, still fill out an adoption application and we’ll be in touch once we have an animal that fits those needs.
