Our Backstory

This non-profit was inspired by the beautiful Australian Shepherd that you see in these pictures. His name was Rusty and he was once a part of our family. Rusty had a bite history and was prone to aggressive tendencies. We tried so hard to get him the help he needed, but quickly found that it was impossible. Trainers gave up on him, medications stopped working, we were hopeless. We looked for months to find somewhere that we could take him where he could get the help he needed, and so well deserved. After exhausting all resources we had to put him down on October 25th, 2019. It broke our hearts. In his memory we started this non-profit, and our hopes are that one day no dog will have to suffer the same fate as our sweet Rusty did.
